ent locations across the state
Incorporating best practices will make
these roundtables the best forum to tee up each concept for your implement
ation team’s preparation for the Patient Driven Payment Model. The roundtab
le will consist of open discussion, group activities and Q&A. This oppo
rtunity will be an effort to prepare all for the upcoming changes and be ab
le to focus towards best practices. The direction we are planning to take i
n the February roundtable is small group discussions that will center aroun
d the formation of your implementation committee and related subcommittees.
You will also hold your focus around working with your partners (i.e. ther
apy and software providers) to make sure they are fully engaged with you in
this process. Ideas will be shared on where to access information on MDS a
nd ICD-10 preparation and coding. This will be a great opportunity to discu
ss whatever you are needing most at this time.
PDPM Video Che
ckpoint, March 11, 2019 in the Aging Update
“With less than s
ix months until you go live with PDPM, the focus is what needs to be comple
ted this quarter. A complete knowledge of how the MDS will impact reimburse
ment as well as a working knowledge of diagnosis coding and how they crossw
alk to reimbursement is critical. You should also be narrowing down who you
r technology partners will be for this transition. At this phase it will be
important to know your nursing staff have a plan to address ICD-10 coding
for the primary diagnosis. Continue your dialogue with your therapy company
.”

We would like to wait as we see the rulings come out to provid
e an accurate description for this webinar. Our goal is to build upon the e

important is that you begin to actively work on this transition with your t
eam and organization as soon as possible. You will only be successful if yo
u are active in your efforts to be educated and working on an implementatio
