Who should attend? Speakers: Travis Bennett is a Loss Control Representative with Thomas McGee and began working with KING members 5 years ago. He holds numerous safety certifications and professional memberships. Previously, Travis was the Environmental Safety & Health Specialist for Black & Veatch/Overland Contracting and the Safety Specialist and Safety Manager for Walton Construction Company. Kevin McFarland is the President and Administrator of the KING program, now in its 29th year. He has been with LeadingAge Kansas for over 32 years. Kevin is a licensed insurance agent and social worker; and previously held the position of Director of Social Services at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community. This program is approved for 1.0 continuing education clock hours for Adult Care Home Administrators, Adult Care Home Operators and Dietitians by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services in the core of Administration. Approved Provider number LTS A0009. LeadingAge Kansas is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
