LeadingAge Kansas, an association representing not-for-profit aging service providers, will soon kick off 5 virtual sessions across the state to discuss how workforce challenges and skyrocketing costs endanger access to essential care for older Kansans.
Every candidate standing for election this fall has been invited to hear from providers and professional caregivers about the challenges they and older Kansans face every day -- and how elected leaders can help.
To introduce the candidate conversations, LeadingAge Kansas will be presenting a multi-media Workforce Situation Report that describes the growing challenges of hiring the care professionals needed to care for the needs of an aging Kansas population and the potential impacts reduced
access to care may have as our population rapidly ages.
