Our Priorities

In order to serve our members and continue striving toward our vision, our priorities include

  1. Workforce - Equip members to develop and maintain adequate, well-trained  staff within context of changing demographics, workforce scarcity and worker expectations.
  2. Advocacy - Grow Advocacy reach and strengthen prowess.
  3. Membership - Improve and expand member engagement, satisfaction, retention, recruitment. 
  4. Public Image - Assist members to improve the image of aging services, explicitly long term care, in their local communities and region.

Other focus areas of our work will include:

  • Assist members to improve/stabilize their financial status
  • Assist members to improve quality of care and quality of life
  • Assist members to understand and comply with applicable regulations
