Our Priorities
In order to serve our members and continue striving toward our vision, our priorities include
- Workforce - Equip members to develop and maintain adequate, well-trained staff within context of changing demographics, workforce scarcity and worker expectations.
- Advocacy - Grow Advocacy reach and strengthen prowess.
- Membership - Improve and expand member engagement, satisfaction, retention, and recruitment.
- Public Image - Assist members to improve the image of aging services, explicitly long term care, in their local communities and region.
Other focus areas of our work will include:
- Assist members to improve/stabilize their financial status
- Assist members to improve quality of care and quality of life
- Assist members to understand and comply with applicable regulations
